Majidreza Rahnavard, a 23-year-old Iranian man, was hanged in public because he was among those responsible for injuring and killing security personnel during protests against the hijab. However, Iranian social organizations say that Majidreza was forcibly made to confess. So far, 3 people have been hanged publicly due to hijab and anti-government protests. A video related to Majidreza is going viral on social media. In this, before dying, he was asked the last wish. The person present with two masked security personnel is saying, 'I do not want anyone to mourn at my grave. I don't want them to read Quran or pray. Just celebrate and enjoy the music.'

Iran's streets have been burning for the past few months over the mandatory wearing of hijab for women. The protest began after a 22-year-old woman named Mahsa Amini was beaten to death by police. Mahsa's parents had said that he was arrested and tortured for hair visible from the hijab. Hundreds of people have lost their lives in this protest so far.
