New Delhi: A dreaded dog bite 17 persons, including children and women, in 15 minutes early Thursday morning at Sukkhi Street in Dasna Gate, Ghaziabad, the state. A two-and-a-half-year-old child was referred to higher medical centre from district hospital when he was in serious condition. The early morning dog in the colony cut someone's hand, then on someone's leg. The dog attacked individuals sleeping from slums to the first floor in homes.

The people surrounded and hit the dog, causing him to faint. He was sacked and left out of the street by the individuals. On Thursday morning in Sukkhi Street, people were sleeping in houses and nearby slums. Suddenly Archana Sharma was bitten by a dog in her left leg, and she started creating ruckus. The dog ran to another slum outside the street, and cut it into the leg of the bagu sleeping there. He also made a ruckus, ran back to the same street and entered Shahbaz's house.

With the same door open, the dog climbed to the first floor, and cut into Shahbaz's head. Thereafter, princess, Mamta, Anil, Mithesh, Shivam, Rabin were bitten. All the injured were injected with anti rabies injections at the district hospital. Shahbaz and Babu said that the dog was mad, and whoever came in was bitten.
