Ajay Devgn is all set for his upcoming film Drishyam 2. Ajay Devgn is back with ‘Drishyam 2’, the sequel to the 2015 blockbuster ‘Drishyam’. Since the first of movie was released in news. Even before the release of the film, the film has done a very good collection from advance booking.

The part of the film did a business of 76.16 crores nett at the Indian box office. It was declared a commercial success and booked itself as Ajay Devgn’s one of the iconic performances. With so much love for part 1, expectations are really high from the sequel.

According to the Box office report, Drishyam 2 has done business of 83 lakhs so far. This is a good trend as 5 days are still to go for the film’s release. This number also includes the ticket sale of the blockbuster offer given by the makers on 2nd October. For the unversed, 50% off was given on movie tickets by leading multiplex chains on Gandhi Jayanti.

Earlier Ajay Devgn sharing the teaser of the film wrote, “Vijay aur uske parivaar ki kahaani toh yaad hogi na aapko? Ki yaad dilaye?”  Yesterday Ajay Devgn took to Instagram and shared the first look from his upcoming movie, Drishyam 2. He announced that the recall trailer will be unveiled on September 29. The film is slated to release on November 18, 2022.

Drishyam, the Hindi remake of hit Malayalam flick of the same name, was helmed by National-Award-winning director Nishikant Kamat, who died in 2020 at the age of 50. Most of the original cast, including  Tabu  as feisty top cop Meera Deshmukh, will be reprising their roles in the sequel. Tabu, Dutta and Saran reprise their roles along with Devgn in ‘Drishyam 2’. The sequel will also star Akshaye Khanna. This movie marks the second collaboration of Khanna and Devgn after 20 years.
