The United Arab Emirates (UAE) ranks first in the race to organize the training camp of India's cricket team. After which Ahmedabad and Dharamshala are also included as options. They have discussed these in the meeting of the Apex Council of the BCCI held on Friday. The Indian Premier League (IPL) can be held in Dubai from late September to November, in view of the increasing case of Coronavirus infection in India. The Indian cricketer is also going to train in Dubai. The issue has been discussed in the board's online meeting of Apex Council, but the final decision is going to be taken by the governing council of IPL. An official of the board has said that the possibility of IPL being held in Dubai is increasing because India is being ruled unsafe due to the Corona epidemic.

As for this, he said that a practice camp can also be organized at Dharamshala or Motera Stadium, Ahmedabad, although Dubai is considered to be the most appropriate place in case Corona cases continue to grow. Salman Hanif, Head of Cricket and Competition, Dubai City, has said that he is preparing his facilities for organizing such a big tournament. The IPL can be held in September-October as the uncertainty about the T20 World Cup in Australia between October 18 and November 15 is constantly increasing. Speaking to 'Gulf News', Hanif said that Dubai Sports City is being built as a possible venue for this T20 League. The Sports City also includes the Dubai International Stadium and the ICC Academy.

The cases of coronavirus in India have crossed 10 lakh and more than 25 thousand people have lost their lives due to this deadly infection. More than 50,000 cases of coronavirus are being reported in UAE, out of which more than 300 people have lost their lives.
