Dubbag by-election: Counting of votes began in Siddipet district

We all know that the Dubbag by-election on November 9, 2020 was peaceful and successful. Now, the counting of votes for the Dabbak by-election began at 8.15 am at Indore Engineering College in Ponnala in Siddipet district. The ruling TRS party and the BJP are in a state of dislike. If the TRS wins, S Sujatha will become Dabbak's first female MLA and if the BJP is successful, it will hoist the flag in the constituency.

To begin the counting, the postal ballot counting was first taken up and the evm votecount will begin at 8.30 am. Staff is kept at a physical distance of 6 feet. About 14 tables have been set up for 23 rounds of counting. Election staff reached the counting centre at 5 am. Staff and agents with a pass are allowed into the counting center.

By-election to Dubbak Assembly constituency is necessary due to the death of sitting MLA Solipetta Ramalinga Reddy. Approximately 1,64,192 people exercised their franchise to 82.61 percent and 1,453 voted for the ballot and 51 service votes.
