Ducati launches Scrambler Desert Sled Bike

Italian superbike maker Dukati today introduced the Scramble Desert Slade model in India, with an ex-showroom price of Rs 9.32 lakhs.

The company has also announced the availability of Euro-four emission standard compliance variants of Scambler Icons and Scammler Classic motorcycles. Their prices are Rs 7.23 lakh and Rs 8.48 lakh respectively.

Durgati India Managing Director Sergei Kanovas said, "This motorcycle is perfect for the city and for the roads." The bike's mudguard is very high on the wheels so that it is easy to run in the sand.

Desert sled is available in 'Red Dusk' and 'White Mirage' and their showroom prices are 932,000 and 9,45,000 rupees respectively.

Ducati Scambler Desert Slade, Icon and -Classic Bikes are available on all the dealerships of Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad and Kochi-based companies.

This bike has an 803 cc air cooled L-twin engine, capable of generating torque of 75 pcs at 8,250 rpm and 68 network torque at 5,750 rpm. This engine is equipped with the 6-speed gearbox.

This bike has a Brembo breaking system, which is equipped with Bosch 9.1 MP ABS system. There is a pressure sensor in it. The front wheel has 3300 mm disc and a 4-piston Brembo M4.32B mono block caliper. While the last wheels have a 245 mm disc brake, which is a griped 32 mm diameter piston caliper.
