Begusarai: A labourer was killed by some miscreants in Bihar's Begusarai only because he did not come to his owner's house for work. The incident took place in Navakothi ward number 8 of the Navakothi police station area. According to reports, 55-year-old Raju Pandit used to work as a labourer for years at Chhotu Singh's house.
The same family members allege that Raju Pandit's health was bad for four days. Because of this, he was not going to work. Enraged by this, on Thursday, some miscreants came to his house and forcibly took him away. Later, the matter escalated to such an extent that they brutally thrashed Raju with sticks and rods. And left the injured Raju at his house. They didn't stop here. He also threatened to kill Raju's family members.
The family members then rushed the injured Raju to the hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead. Aggrieved by the case, the family members rushed to the Navakothi police station with Raju's body and lodged a police case against the miscreants. Police are currently searching the body. At the same time, all the criminals are absconding since the incident. The family members alleged that he was brutally murdered for not working by the miscreants. Headquarters DSP Nishith Priya said that the case is currently being investigated and all the culprits will be arrested at the earliest. Strict action will be taken against them after their arrest.
