Duniya Vijay and Sadhu Kokila have found themselves in legal trouble. The actor and comedian has been charged for violating COVID-19 regulations while taking part in the Mekedatu padayatra. They have been charged with unlawful assembly and endangering human life or personal safety of others via acts of carelessness, according to the complaint.
Sadhu Kokila and Duniya Vijay, on the other hand, have yet to answer to the FIR lodged against them. Sadhu Kokila, speaking to the media, claimed that he went in the Padayatra as a citizen, not as a member of the Sandalwood brotherhood. He even wrote a handful of songs using water as the central motif. Meanwhile, it was rumoured that actor Shivaraj Kumar would be the one to launch Padayatra during the occasion, however these were merely rumours. Meanwhile, DK Shivakumar, Siddaramaiah, and M Mallikarjun Kharge, the head of the Karnataka Congress, are facing accusations on the same grounds.
On the professional front, Sadhu Kokila will do the director's hat for his latest film, Jolly Life, for the second time. The storey revolves around the lives of college students. To mention a few, he has directed films such as Gange Baare Thunge Baare, Rakshasa, Devru, Police Story 3, Shourya, and Raktha Kanneeru. Duniya Vijay, on the other hand, is getting ready to make his Telugu debut. In the film directed by Gopichand Malineni, Duniya Vijay will portray the antagonist. Nandamuri Balakrishna will be working on his 107th project.
