Why do earthquakes occur?
According to the structure, the earth is located on tectonic plates. Below the plates is the fluid on which the tectonic plates float. Many times these plates collide with each other and due to excessive pressure, these plates also start breaking. In such a situation, the energy generated below finds a way out and when it creates a disturbance, an earthquake occurs.
