Earthquake shook the land of Arunachal Pradesh, magnitude 4.2 on Richter scale

Itanagar: After Himachal Pradesh, tremors have also hit Arunachal Pradesh on Friday. It is being told that the tremors of the earthquake in Arunachal Pradesh were felt at around 12.40 pm. The intensity of these aftershocks on the Richter scale is recorded at 4.2. Earlier on Friday morning, tremors were also felt in Himachal Pradesh. 

The epicentre of the quake was reportedly located 222 km south of Changlang in Arunachal Pradesh. However, no information about the loss of life and property due to the earthquake has been revealed so far. It may be recalled that earlier, the tremors had struck Himachal Pradesh at 7.46 am on Friday . Their intensity was recorded at 3.5 on the Richter scale. The epicentre of the earthquake was located 57 km north-northwest of Dharamsala. However, the intensity of the earthquake was extremely low. There is no information about the loss of life and property so far. 

On May 11, there was an earthquake in Uttarakhand.

Earlier on May 11, there were earthquakes in Pithoragarh in Uttarakhand. The area where the earthquake occurred is the area near the Nepal border. The magnitude of the earthquake was recorded at 4.6 on the Richter scale. However, there was no damage of any kind during this period.
