Easy Dahi Bhindi recipe for Blood Pressure Patient

These days one of the most common problems is Blood pressure. Blood Pressure is the pressure of blood pushing against the walls of your arteries. Arteries carry blood from your heart to other parts of your body. Blood pressure is measured using two numbers: The first number, called systolic blood pressure, measures the pressure in your arteries when your heart beats. The second number, called diastolic blood pressure, measures the pressure in your arteries when your heart rests between beats.

Blood Pressure is directly linked to your diet. What you eat plays a very important role in blood pressure. Here is an easy recipe for Dahi Bhindi to make which gives you both taste and health.

 

  •   Take a Kadai, add 2 tsp of oil, and fry onions, ginger, and garlic.
  •   Then fry till they turn slightly golden in color. allow cooling completely.
  •    Add water and blend to smooth paste. keep aside.
  •    Add a tsp of oil and fry chopped bhindis.
  •  Fry till bhindi cook from all sides and change color to dark green.
  •   Add a tsp of oil along with mustard seeds, jeera, methi, and thing.
  •    once they splutter add curry leaves. 
  •  Now add the prepared onion puree and saute for a minute.
  •     Add spices like chili powder, turmeric, coriander powder and salt to taste.             fry the masala on low flame.
  •     Add 1 cup curd/yogurt and stir on low flame.
  •     Immediately add fried bhindi/okra and give a good stir.
  •     Close the lid and allow to cook for 5 minutes.
  •      Your healthy Dahi Bhindi is ready
