ED summons Maharashtra former home minister Anil Deshmukh on July 5

The ED has once again summoned former Home Minister Anil Deshmukh. This is the third summons sent to Anil Deshmukh. Tell all of you that they have been ordered to appear for investigation on the 5th of July. He was summoned by the ED last Tuesday too and called for an inquiry in the morning but he did not appear. At that time Anil Deshmukh refused to appear citing his age, health and corona.

During that time, he had asked his lawyer to tell him what documents he wanted. At that time, Anil Deshmukh had also sought an 8-day grace period and now his grace is about to end. On the other hand, it is also reported that Anil Deshmukh has suddenly left for Delhi this morning. Now, with his sudden visit to Delhi, there have been discussions that he has gone to Delhi to approach the Supreme Court in consultation with senior lawyers in this regard.

The ED had raided his house recently in the mumbai bar and restaurant recovery case of Rs 100 crore. He was summoned by the ED after that raid. He was summoned to the ED office for questioning at 11 am last Tuesday. But he did not come. He has since been summoned again by the ED for questioning and summoned for questioning but this time too he did not come. Now, in the meantime, he has gone to Delhi and is said to have gone to seek advice from lawyers on the ED notice.
