Ed Sheeran, a Grammy winner, is hopeful that his new storytelling appearance would help children with stutters, like himself.

In an upcoming episode of 'CBeebies Bedtime Story,' the musician will read Jordan Scott and Sydney Smith's 'I Talk Like a River,' and claims he leaped at the chance to narrate the storey about a little boy whose father helps him overcome his stammer.' He says, "I hope the narrative inspires and supports other youngsters who stammer."

"I had a stutter like the boy in I Talk Like a River when I was younger, so I'm thrilled to be reading this storey for CBeebies Bedtime Stories, especially now that I'm a new parent." Sheeran joins a long list of celebrities who have read stories to children on the show, including Dolly Parton, Rege-Jean Page, Orlando Bloom, Tom Hardy, and Ryan Reynolds.

On November 5, Sheeran will appear on the CBeebies channel and on the BBC iPlayer.
