ED summons Anil Deshmukh in money laundering case, two private employees arrested

Mumbai: Former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh's trouble in the peaks of mountain. In fact, the ED has summoned Anil Deshmukh in connection with the rs 100 crore bribery allegations. According to the information received, Anil Deshmukh has been summoned for questioning at 11 am today. However, no information has been received about his presence so far. Let us tell all of you that two of his assistants were arrested by the ED last night.

There are now allegations of Anil Deshmukh's arrest. In fact, last Friday, the ED arrested Deshmukh's personal secretary Sanjeev Palande and personal assistant Kundan Shinde after nearly nine hours of interrogation under the provisions of the PMLA. He is alleged to have not been cooperating during the interrogation of the Central Investigating Agency at his office at Ballard Estate in Mumbai.

You must be aware that the ED registered a case against Anil Deshmukh and others after the CBI initiated the first preliminary inquiry into a case registered under compliance with the Bombay High Court order. In fact, the court had asked the investigating agency to probe the bribery allegations levelled against Deshmukh by former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh. Anil Deshmukh had resigned from his post in April following the allegations. He had also rejected the allegations and has been doing so far.
