Education Minister calls for a crucial meeting: Will discuss Class 12 exams

The Ministry of Education has called a significant meeting on Sunday, May 23, to discuss the issue of pending Class 12 board exams, which were postponed in view of the second wave of Covid-19, Union Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' said.

The meeting will be chaired by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. Union Women and Child Development Minister Smriti Irani and Minister for Information and Broadcasting Prakash Javadekar will be in attendance.

"All the state government education ministers and secretaries have been requested to attend this meeting and to share their valuable views with regards to upcoming examinations. This virtual meeting will take place at 11.30 am on 23rd May, 2021," the Education Minister said.

The education department is facing issues regarding the upcoming exams. Therefore, an important decision would be taken in tomorrow's meeting. Apart from Class XII examinations, entrance examinations of other competitive examinations will also be
