It may be noted that the academic session 2020 has been one of its kind where things went totally unpredicted for the whole year. JEE Main 2020 April exam ended up being conducted in the month of September and so was the case with NEET and pending board exams as well. All the post-lockdown exams were affected by the rapidly spreading coronavirus pandemic.
The principal of a CBSE-affiliated school Sister Jancy Joseph shared her concern, She said, “We had conducted a survey of collecting consent from parents about offline board examinations as per instructions of the board.” She said that barely 1 to 5 percent had given their consent for the same. “This year has been tough for students as well, the risk of calling students for offline board examinations is daunting for most parents,” Reena Khurana, principal of a CBSE affiliated school, said. She added that the survey was sent to the board and will be considered for making the final decision on examination.
