Ingredients for making semolina and coconut cakes-
1 cup semolina
1 cup freshly grated coconut
1 cup crushed sugar
1/2 cup molten butter
1/2 cup yoghurt
2 tbsp milk
1 tsp cornflour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp vanilla
A pinch of salt
Molten butter, to crack
Maida, to dust

Method of making semolina and coconut cakes - Grease a tin with melted butter and dust it with all-purpose flour. After that spread the dough well. Now take out the remaining dough by patting the tin. After this, take all the ingredients in a deep bowl and mix well using a flat spoon. After this, pour the cake mixture in a greased and dusted cake tin and spread it well. Now cover with aluminium foil and keep aside for 2 hours. After this, take out the aluminium foil and bake in a pre-heated oven at 180°c (360°f) for 40 minutes. Now let it cool for 15 minutes and take out the cake from the tin. Finally cut into square pieces and use as required.
