Eid, also known as Eid-ul-Fitr, is a joyous festival celebrated by Muslims around the world. It marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan, a period of fasting and spiritual reflection. On June 29, families and communities come together to celebrate this festival of love and gratitude. The day begins with special prayers at the mosque, where people seek blessings and express their gratitude to Allah. After the prayers, there is an exchange of heartfelt greetings and warm embraces as loved ones and friends come together. It is a time of unity, forgiveness, and spreading love and joy. Families gather for festive meals and exchange gifts, while children enjoy receiving 'Eidi,' which is a traditional gift of money. The essence of Eid lies in fostering a sense of compassion, sharing, and reaching out to those in need. It is a beautiful occasion that brings people closer, transcending cultural and geographical boundaries, and promoting love and understanding among all.
