Eid is going to be celebrated today. Eid is celebrated to thank Allah for always being the guide during the month of Ramadan. A lot of people go to the mosque, pray and ask for forgiveness. Along with this, people also do charity on this day. This is considered a very holy day. Eid explains the importance of sacrifice, self-discipline and charity.

People believe that with fasting, prayer and charity, one becomes a humble person and attains self-control. There is another story about Eid, according to which Prophet Hazrat Mohammad saw in Arabia every person is getting away from each other. During that time, the entire Arab was divided into poor and rich and Mohammad Sahab thought to unite everyone and asked everyone to follow a rule, which was named Roza. He said, "The whole day we will not eat anything and will not take even a drop of water. Whatever dish it is, we have to sacrifice it."

He said, "This will awaken the spirit of sacrifice in everyone. The grief of each other will be felt and goodwill will come in everyone's mind. Roza was started after that."
