Mumbai: There is relief news for Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray on Friday. The danger is hovering over Uddhav's CM chair seems to be over. Actually, the Election Commission of India has decided to hold the Legislative Council (MLC) elections in Maharashtra. The Election Commission has said that during the election, necessary guidelines should be ensured to protect against the coronavirus epidemic.

He informed that notification in this regard will be issued soon and the election will be concluded within 21 days. The entire process will be completed by 27 May. In fact, in order to save the post of CM, Uddhav Thackeray is required to get membership of any House of the state before May 28 and the Maharashtra cabinet sent its recommendations to Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari twice to make him a nominated member on one seat of the Legislative Council.
