Lucknow: Samajwadi Party (SP) candidate and former minister Swami Prasad Maurya's troubles seem to be mounting from Fazilnagar assembly constituency in Kushinagar district during the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections. At the same time, a case of violation of the Election Commission's rules has come to light against his son and after this, a case has been registered against him by the police. The police have issued a notice to Swami Prasad Maurya seeking his reply while registering a case against his son and sent him out of the district limits.

In fact, Kushinagar went to the polls on Thursday and it is alleged that Swami Prasad Maurya had violated the election code of conduct during the elections. Fazilnagar Assembly constituency RO Alok Rai has informed that Swami Prasad Maurya has been accused of violating the model code of conduct. Because Maurya held a roadshow after the election campaign was over without permission. Due to this, a notice has been issued to them and a reply has been sought. Swami Prasad Maurya has left the BJP and joined the Samajwadi Party just before the elections. The party had given him a ticket from Fazilpur to Kushinagar.

At the same time, a case has been registered against his son Ashok Maurya for violating the election code of conduct. At the same time, even after being an outsider in Fazilpur, he has been expelled from the district because he is in his constituency. Police said they have been handed over to their acquaintances and sent out of the district's border.
