Kerala's Wayanad, one of the most closely-watched Lok Sabha seats, is set for an intense three-way contest. Congress MP Rahul Gandhi will be competing against K Surendran of the BJP and Annie Raja of the Communist Party of India.

The Wayanad constituency was established after the 2008 delimitation and has been a Congress stronghold since 2009. In the 2019 elections, Rahul Gandhi secured a dominant victory with 65% of the vote share, garnering over seven lakh votes. He defeated P P Suneer of the CPI by an impressive margin of 4.31 lakh votes.

His total declared income is Rs 1 crore, entirely from self-income. He has liabilities totaling Rs 49.8 lakh. Notably, he has mentioned 18 criminal cases registered against him in his affidavit.
