Rampur: Senior leader of Samajwadi Party (SP) and MP from Rampur Lok Sabha seat, Azam Khan is not taking the name of reducing the troubles. While the Rampur district court earlier rejected Azam Khan's anticipatory bail, on Thursday (September 05), Azam Khan's Humsafar Resort has been raided by the administrative team. During this time, the case of electricity theft in the resort has come to light.

According to the information given by the sources, the team reached to check the water tank and electricity connection near Humsafar Resort and started the investigation. During investigation, power theft has been found in the resort. In the matter, the employees of the electricity department have cut off the electricity connection of Humsafar Resort and have lodged a complaint with the police station regarding this matter.

Giving information in the case, Junior Engineer Rahul has told that Humsafar Resort has a connection of five kilowatts. The stolen electricity was being used in the resort. At present, the electricity connection of the resort has been cut. Let us tell you that this resort is registered in the name of Azam Khan's younger son Abdullah Azam Khan. The family of Azam Khan runs this resort.
