Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, recently dubbed Telegram CEO Pavel Durov 'Genghis Khan' following Durov’s shocking claim that he has fathered more than 100 biological children across 12 different countries.

Durov, 32, revealed the surprising information in a detailed Telegram post, suggesting that he has been an active sperm donor for many years. This post was later shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), where a user highlighted the claim with the caption, “Today we learned that Telegram CEO Pavel Durov has over 100 biological children.”

Musk responded to the post with a light-hearted jab, stating, “Rookie numbers lmao – Genghis Khan.” His comment references Genghis Khan, the founder of the Mongol Empire, who is historically known for fathering numerous descendants. A study published in the American Journal of Human Genetics found that around 0.5% of the world's male population could be traced back to Genghis Khan.

In his original post, Durov explained that he began donating sperm 15 years ago. He recounted how a friend asked him to donate sperm to help with fertility issues, which initially struck him as a joke. However, he eventually agreed, leading to his significant number of biological children.
