Washington: Tesla chief Elon Musk has become the new owner of the social media platform Twitter. According to the report, Musk has fired 4 top officials including the company's CEO Parag Agarwal. In such a situation, now after the removal of Indian-origin Parag Agarwal from the company, he is expected to get a large amount of compensation. According to the report, Parag Agarwal can get more than $42 million i.e. more than 3.45 billion rupees from the company.

Research firm Equilar had said in its report a few months ago that if Parag Agarwal is removed from the post of CEO of Twitter within 12 months, then he can be paid a huge amount including his basic salary and equity awards. Parag Agarwal's monthly salary was revealed to be around Rs 8.23 crore. Agarwal, who studied at IIT Bombay and Stanford University, joined Twitter more than a decade ago. At that time, there were less than 1,000 employees in the company. 

Parag Agarwal was made the CEO of Twitter after the resignation of the company's co-founder Jack Dorsey in November last year. But after Elon Musk's intervention in twitter's management, there was speculation that Parag Agarwal did not want to continue his job. Musk also said that he does not believe in Twitter's management.
