New Delhi: A SpiceJet flight going from Delhi airport to Srinagar had to be brought back to Delhi. According to the information, the AFT cargo firelight of this flight was burning. Due to this, an emergency landing of the aircraft had to be done. However, after landing, the light was extinguished as soon as the captain took action. All 140 passengers present on the aircraft have been taken off safely.

An official of the airline company has told us that, today, i.e., April 18, SpiceJet B737's operating Delhi-Srinagar flight SG-8373 had to be brought back to the national capital as there were signs of fire burning in the cockpit. He told me that, however, later the light was switched off due to the understanding of the captain. After the cargo of the plane was opened, no sign of fire or smoke was found in it.

According to the official, a preliminary investigation found the alert to be false. Let us tell you that, last month too, there was talk of a technical fault in a flight going from Kolkata to Bangkok. After which he too had to make an emergency landing. 170 passengers were present on that flight. After which, all the passengers were sent by another plane.
