New Delhi: The bail plea filed by former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Manish Sisodia in the liquor policy case was heard today, i.e., on Tuesday. The counsel for the Enforcement Directorate (ED) opposed Manish's bail. Keeping an old decision in front of him, the ED's lawyer said that the court should not have granted bail at this stage. After this, the Rouse Avenue Court reserved its decision on the matter. The court will now pronounce the verdict on bail on April 26.

AAP leader Manish Sisodia's lawyer told the court that there was no cap on the distributor margin, which was 12 percent. Sisodia's lawyer said that a cap of 12 percent was imposed on the profit margin, whereas 5 percent was the minimum cap. Sisodia's lawyer said that Ravi Dhawan is a bureaucrat; he is not the President of India. We included many of Ravi Dhawan's suggestions, but we also rejected some.

Sisodia's lawyer said that the court can say why the lottery was taken out for the tender. Why was the tender not bid on? If the Deputy CM asked an officer to work according to the law, then where is the crime in that? After the completion of Manish Sisodia's arguments on bail, ED's lawyer presented his case.
