Raipur: The state employees of Chhattisgarh received the gift of the republic on the occasion of 26th January i.e. Republic Day. CM Bhupesh Baghel made several announcements for the state employees. He said that the state government employees will now have to work only five days a week. At the same time, for pension, the state's contribution as part of the contributory pension scheme has been increased from 10% to 14%.

At the same time, the CM announced that special provisions will be made for the regularization of business activities operating in residential areas. Apart from this, the CM also announced the setting up of women's safety cells in every district for women's safety. Shaheed Gundaipur State Level Archery Academy will also be launched to encourage archery in the state. In addition, 10% of the plots will also be reserved for entrepreneurship development in the OBC.

Making the announcement for the same farmers, Chief Minister Baghel said that from Kharif 2022-23, pulses crops like Moong, Urad, Arhar etc. will also be procured at MSP in the state. At the same time, the CM Empowerment Assistance Scheme will be launched for the daughters of working families. Under this, a lump sum payment of 20 thousand rupees each will be made in the bank account of two daughters.
