Emraan Hashmi named among one of the fine actors of Indian cinema. Baadshaho, the multi starrer historical drama was his last project after which he was indulging in the shoot of his next project named as ‘The Body’ with Malayalam director Jeethu Joseph.

Reports claimed that shooting of the movie is completed and makers will now start post-production of the project in August. Notably, the female lead role is portraying by South Indian actress Vedhika Kumar who would be seen to play a role of innocent college girl as the director informed once: “Vedhika's character is of a young college-going girl who has who has this innocence about her. She fits the role beautifully,”

The movie will mark the Bollywood debut of actress and director. The movie's plot was shot at various parts of Mumbai and Mauritius. The 45 days shoot also have Rishi Kapoor who is playing a vital role in the movie. Sunir Kheterpal and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures will contribute to the production part of the film that will present itself in December 2018 only.

While expressing their excitement on the fresh couple Kheterpal previously said that the pairing is “fresh and one to watch out for”. While achieving the opportunity to work in Bollywood with such wonderful and well-established team Vedhika once excitingly said that “I'm very excited and thankful to the director Jeetu Joseph, producer Sunir Kheterpal and the entire team at Viacom18 Motion Pictures for this opportunity.
