Noida: There is an encounter between police and miscreants in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Last night there was also an encounter between police and liquor smugglers in Greater Noida. The encounter also fired from both sides. A crook was injured by a police bullet. Police have arrested two miscreants. Meanwhile, the main liquor smuggler escaped. Police are searching for him.

ADSP Vishal Pandey said that input was received from the arrival of liquor smugglers. During the search, ATS tried to stop the miscreants riding trucks near the roundabout, on which the miscreants opened fire and started fleeing. He said one of the miscreants was injured in the counter-firing by the police. Meanwhile, police arrested two miscreants. However, a crook managed to escape.

Police said the injured miscreant's name is Omvir. Omvir is a resident of Firozabad. While the other miscreant is said to be from Rahul Etawah. Police said the injured miscreants have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. 50 thongs of liquor, two tents, and cartridges have been seized from the accused. During interrogation, the miscreants said that they work for Avnish, a resident of Agra, a liquor smuggler. Avnish also drove in front of the truck while smuggled liquor from Haryana. He had fled as soon as he saw the police.
