Raipur: There are reports of frequent encounters between police and Naxalites in Chhattisgarh. The latest encounter took place in Kawardha, a Naxal-affected area in Chhattisgarh. In this encounter, the police have got great success. During this time a female Naxalite was gardened. According to the information, his name is Jugni. During this period, a large amount of Naxal literature was seized by the police.

The encounter between the police and the Naxalites took place near Surtiya village. Police was informed about the presence of Naxalites around this village. The policemen then surrounded the area. During this, firing started from both sides and the police killed the female Naxalites. At the same time, the police seized a large amount of Naxalite literature.

On Saturday, the Naxalites killed a local man employed as an education friend and threw the corpse into the forest. After killing the deceased youth Muchaki Linga, the naxalites threw the corpse into the forest near Banpalli village. Sukma Superintendent of Police Shalabh Sinha informed about the incident.

Earlier last week, Naxalites carried out a major crime in Tadoki area of Kanker district. A petrol tanker hit by a landmine blast planted by Naxalites and three people on board died on the spot. In fact, in recent times, many Naxalites have surrendered and joined the mainstream. This causes Naxalites to panic.
