Srinagar: Two terrorists were reported killed during an encounter between security forces and terrorists in Shopian, Jammu and Kashmir. According to information, the encounter has begun at Molu Chitgam in Shopian. Sources say the body of a terrorist has also been recovered from the spot. However, he is yet to be identified.

Earlier on Sunday, the national conference leader's house in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir was attacked by terrorists with a grenade. The militants not only launched a grenade attack at National conference leader  Mohiddin Mir's house but also fired.

This is not the first time the terrorists have targeted a politician's house. Earlier, the terrorists had also launched a grenade attack at the House of Congress leader Omar Jan in Pinglana in South Kashmir's Pulwama district. However, he was not present at home during the attack.

It is reported that s terror outfits are furious after the death of terrorist Zakir Musa. So, the valley is continuously carrying out such incidents. All security agencies are on alert as terror activities intensify. The separatist and terrorist outfits are also on the go to disrupt the Amarnath yatra. Amarnath Yatra will commence from 1st July next. The path from Anantnag to Srinagar will be very challenging.
