Mumbai: A coalition government of Shiv Sena Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and Congress will be formed in Maharashtra this evening. Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray will take oath as CM at Shivaji Park in Mumbai at 6.40 pm today. According to reports, former Congress CM Ashok Chavan will also hold the post of minister in Uddhav Thackeray's new cabinet. But before Chavan's swearing-in, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has added to his woes.
In fact, the ED has again started an investigation into the Adarsh Society scam against Ashok Chavan. Ashok Chavan had to resign from the post of CM of Maharashtra after the Adarsh Society scam. According to media reports, the ED team reached the Adarsh Society in Colaba on Wednesday (November 27) and started the investigation there. Due to which Ashok Chavan's difficulties have increased again even before he was sworn in as minister.
Uddhav Thackeray will take oath as Chief Minister at Shivaji Park in Dadar at 6.40 pm today. The coalition leaders have handed over a letter to the governor supporting 166 MLAs.
