New Delhi: Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will appear before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) at Loknayak Bhawan in Delhi today. According to ED sources, his father Amitabh Bachchan may also be served a notice of ED in the case soon. In 2016, 1.15 crore tax documents of Panama's law firm were leaked in the UK. It included the names of top leaders, businessmen and celebrities from all over the world. Coming to India, the names of about 500 people were revealed. This includes the name of the Bachchan family.
According to a report, Amitabh Bachchan was made director of 4 companies. Three of them were present in the Bahamas, while one was located in the Virgin Islands. These companies were created in 1993. The capital of these companies was between 5,000 and 50,000 dollars, but these companies were doing business in ships that were worth crores of rupees. Aishwarya was earlier made director of a company. He was later declared the shareholder of the company. The company was named Amik Partners Pvt Ltd. It was headquartered in the Virgin Islands. Apart from Aishwarya, her father K Rai, mother Brinda Rai and brother Aditya Rai were also his partners in the company. The company was formed in 2005. Three years later, in 2008, the company shut down.
