In the summer season, people become fond of food and drink, although food with more spices proves to be harmful for health. In such a situation, if you want to eat cold in the summer season, then you can make Shikanji. It is easy to make and you will feel good drinking it.

Ingredients for making Shikanji-

Black salt - 3 tbsp (45 g)
Cumin - 2 tbsp (14 g)
Fennel - 1 tbsp (7 grams)
Black pepper - 1 tbsp (7 grams)
Green cardamom - 1 tbsp (7 grams)
Cinnamon pieces - 2 inches
Sugar - 1 kg
Powdered sugar - 1/2 kg
Soda - 1 glass
Mint leaves - for garnishing
Ice cubes - for garnishing

Shikanji Masala- To make Shikanji Masala, first put 2 tablespoons cumin in a pan and fry it on medium flame. After the cumin is lightly roasted, keep it on a plate to cool down. Now after the cumin seeds cool down, put 3 tbsp black salt, 2 inch cinnamon pieces, 1 tbsp green cardamom, 1 tbsp fennel and 1 tbsp black pepper in a mixer and grind them finely. After the whole spice is ground, sieve it well. Shikanji masala is ready.

Shikanji from spices- To make shikanji from spices, add 1/2 tsp shikanji masala, 2 tbsp sugar powder, juice of 1 lemon and a little water in a glass. After the spices dissolve, fill the glass with water. Put mint leaves, ice cubes and slices of a lemon on top. So take our masala shikanji is ready.
