Haryana Government has taken a major decision. The government is now preparing to blacklist entrepreneurs who have retreated by bidding for industrial plots. Not only this, if the plot is not taken on the lines of the successful bidder, five percent accumulated income fund (EMD) deposited will also be forfeited. Also, EMD has been increased by three percent. Earlier, the reserve price of EMD plot was two percent. This decision was taken in a meeting chaired by the Principal Secretary of CM and Chairman of HSIIDC Rajesh Khullar.

Apart from this, the board also approved the policy for allowing ten percent additional floor area ratio (FAR) for In-C2 residence of workers within each allottee's unit. The H-1 (highest) bidder will now be given ten minutes to enter (book) the plot. If he does not book the plot in a fixed time, the software will allocate the plot randomly in the next one minute. . Later H-2 will start from the highest bidder of the bidder. If the re-bid does not happen, then the H-2 bidder will have only 30 minutes to fix his plot in his previous H-2 bid.

The third phase will start with the highest bid of the H-3 bidder. Apart from this, it has also been said that for successful bidders, ten percent payment time has been increased from 24 hours to 72 hours. All unsuccessful bidders will be refunded their EMD amount within 24 hours. The ten percent additional FAR allowed for industrial housing will benefit those units which have already exhausted the available FAR. The facility is provided after payment of proportionate increase fee and revision of zoning or building plans. Allotment of plots up to five acres can get 10 percent additional FAR through self-certification.
