Lucknow: A negative corona report will now be required to enter up, the country's largest state. The Yogi government in the state on Sunday issued the directions in a major decision. In such a situation, when you have to come to Uttar Pradesh from any other state, it will be necessary to have a negative report of corona. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had an important meeting with officials on Sunday.

In the meeting, Chief Minister Yogi has issued special guidelines for passengers coming from other states. It has been reported that people coming from states where the positivity rate is more than 3 per cent will be required to bring a negative corona report (RT-PCR). It has also been clarified that the corona report may be only four days old. The Chief Minister has also talked about exemption for persons who have been vaccinated against both corona vaccines. However, these rules are going to apply to many persons coming through personal means in addition to roads/air/rail routes.

The meeting has stressed on the policy of trace, test and treat by the CM. He has said that whoever enters Uttar Pradesh from corona affected states, it is necessary to do contact tracing in time. Antigen tests and thermal scanning have also been talked about on arrival. There have been clear instructions from Yogi Adityanath that corona rules should be strictly followed in the state. He has said that extensive scanning through infrared thermometers will also have to be emphasized.
