New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi has praised the retired army officer who took care of helpless animals due to lockdown. Prime Minister Modi has written a letter to fans of his service. Pramila Singh, who retired as a Major from the Indian Army, is a resident of Kota in Rajasthan. His kindness and service to the helpless animals in the lockdown caused by corona also made Prime Minister Modi happy and he wrote a letter praising him.

In fact, while everyone was busy filling their houses with the lockdown, Major Pramila Singh, with the help of her father Shyamveer, came forward for the destitute animals and helped them. He made arrangements for food and treatment of animals roaming the streets. Prime Minister Modi has described Pramila Singh's efforts as an inspiration for the society.

Prime Minister Modi also wrote in a letter, "People will remember this historic time for the rest of their lives. It is a difficult period for humans as well as many organisms living in the vicinity of human beings. It is commendable for you to understand the sufferings and needs of helpless animals in a state of shock and work for them with full strength." Talking about the situation in corona in the country, 41,157 new corona cases have been reported in the last 24 hours in the country. 518 people lost their lives due to corona virus.
