In the 2000s, Ekta Kapoor's  Kasautii Zindagii Kay was one of the most loved and watched shows of the Indian television. It kept the audiences entertained.
The show had four favourite lead characters  of the audience, Prerna, Anurag, Mr Bajaj and Komolika. While Prerna, Anurag and Mr Bajaj were the protagonists and positive,  Komolika was a grey shade, dark character.
The characters were played by Shweta Tiwari, Cezanne Khan, Ronit Roy and Urvashi Dholakia, respectively. 
There were some other amazing  characters in the show like Nivedita Basu, Anurag's sister. In the remake of Kasautii Zindagii Kay, the role of Anurag and Prerna have been played by Parth Samthaan and Erica Fernandes. The extremely talented and gorgeous Hina Khan is playing the iconic villain Komolika on the show. However, the other favourite of the audience is the character of Nivedita Basu which has been played by Pooja Banerjee. In one of her recent interviews, Pooja discussed about playing Nivedita and Erica's reaction to her playing such a role.
The actress asserted, "Pooja Banerjee and Nivedita Basu are poles apart! I'm a completely different person in real life, very happy and warm."
She  also revealed at how Erica Fernandes joked about her playing Nivedita Basu.
