PanchayatI Raj and Rural Development Minister M.D.Dayakar Rao has now given a statement on the Kusuma Dixit Reddy case. He said that the issue of Kusuma Dixit Reddy (9) murder will be taken to the notice of local MLA B Shankar Nayak and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. He said that the game will ensure maximum punishment for the offender.
On Monday, minister, MP Malot Kavitha, Shankar Nayak and others visited Dikshit's parents' house in Shanigarapuram village and paid tribute salute to the boy. After consoling Dikshit Reddy's parents and relatives, the minister said the state government would do justice to the family of the deceased.
Dayakar Rao said, "It is very sad. The active boy was kidnapped and murdered. This is an irreparable loss to the family. Parents, relatives and villagers have sought harsh punishment for the accused, and we will ensure that it is for the accused and collectall the evidence. The villagers want to impose maximum punishment for the murder to discourage other criminals from committing such crimes in future,".
