Patna: A man shot dead his daughter and divorced wife in Bihar's capital Patna on Thursday afternoon. Thereafter, he also shot himself. In the investigation of the case, it was revealed that Rajiv, who committed murder and suicide, wanted to keep his daughter (born to the first wife) with him after a divorce from the second wife, but the daughter was living with his divorced wife. He was upset about it. It is probably for this reason that he committed the murder and suicide in the police colony of Anisabad area of Patna.

According to the news received, Rajiv lived on rent in the house of a former IG. Investigations revealed that Rajiv Kumar's first wife Shashi Prabha had died. Thereafter, he had married his sister-in-law Priyanka. Rajiv's second wife Priyanka also divorced him after some time. Apart from this, Rajiv Kumar's relationship with his daughter Sanskriti was also not good. Sanskriti was the daughter of his first wife. Sanskriti did not want to be with her father Rajiv. Investigations into the case have revealed that Rajiv's divorced wife Priyanka used to work in the secretariat. Patna Police is investigating the entire incident thoroughly. The reason behind the murder, which has come out in the news so far, was actually a family dispute and Rajiv's insistence on keeping his daughter with him. He took a loaded pistol and had already ambushed them outside their house. According to the CCTV footage that the police have in their hands, as soon as Priyanka, her mother and Sanskriti reached the door of the house, Rajiv attacked them. First, he shot his daughter Sanskriti and then Priyanka. After that, he also shot himself in the head.
