Mumbai: RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said that we should stick to our religion, even if we have to die for it. He said that Sanatan Dharma is a Hindu Rashtra. Whenever the Hindu nation progresses, it is for the advancement of religion. Now God wants Sanatan Dharma to rise. In such a situation, the upliftment of India is certain. He was speaking at the 'Dharmabhaskar' award ceremony in Nagpur.
RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said that India, which holds the essence of the world, has always been immortal and undefeated. Religion is the essence of this country. Sanatan Dharma is a Hindu Rashtra, whenever there is an upliftment of a Hindu nation, it is for the country. The scope of religion is very large without which life cannot go on. He said that everything is fine in favorable conditions but in adverse circumstances, we remember saints. According to the report, Mohan Bhagwat said that the British started a new education system to remove the 'entity' of India and the country became poor.
Bhagwat said religion is not just a cult, sect, or form of worship. The values of religion, i.e., truth, compassion, purity, and penance, are equally important. He said even after several invasions, India remains one of the richest countries in the world as its people have maintained the "essence of religion". Bhagwat claimed that India was number one economically for 1,600 years and later it was ranked among the first five countries. But in 1860, an invader (British) understood the importance of 'entity' and started a new education system to destroy that. The RSS chief said the plans were made so that Indians do not come together and fight back and as a result, the country's financial condition worsened.
