Lucknow: A case of rape of a two-year-old girl has come to light in Mohanlalganj, Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. The accused is the 13-year-old cousin of the girl. According to media reports, this boy was also accused of misbehaving with a child some time ago. But at that time, it was forgiven. Now the police are probing the matter after arresting the teenager.

The incident of a 2-year-old girl being raped occurred on Wednesday, April 19, 2023. The girl's family members knew about it the next day, on Thursday. The child was crying due to stomach pain and bleeding. When the family members asked her why she was crying, she said that her brother had hit her. The girl's father has filed a complaint in this regard. In the complaint, it has been stated that on Wednesday, the girl child was playing outside her house. Her 13-year-old cousin also came to play with her. The girl's father and her mother had gone to work in the field with their second child, who was 8 months old. Meanwhile, the cousin went to his house with the victim. According to the victim's father, his brother and sister-in-law were also not at home at that time.

Taking the opportunity, the cousin raped his sister. When the girl started bleeding from her private parts, he left her near the house and fled. The girl was crying in pain. When the girl's parents reached home, they asked the reason for her crying. The girl told that her brother had hit her. At that time, everyone started pacifying him by caressing him. The next morning, the baby girl started crying again because her stomach was hurting. The girl's mother noticed that her private parts were injured and bleeding. When the father reached his brother's house with the girl child, the brother and nephew thrashed him. After this, the girl's father lodged a complaint with the police. The police registered a case and took the girl to the hospital for a medical examination.

According to reports, the 13-year-old boy was earlier accused of raping a child. At that time, the villagers pacified the matter by scolding. People say that the accused keeps watching pornographic movies on his mobile phone.
