The FIFA U-17 world cup commencement dates have been announced and the fun part is the major tournament of International Sport is taking place in India. The World Cup tournament will start by 6th October 2017 and will continue till 28th October 2017.
This major world cup tournament will take part in six Indian Venues that consists of – Goa, Mumbai, Kochi, Kolkata, New Delhi and Chennai.
When asked about the 360 degree change in the view of the stadium the Project director of the tournament, Joy Bhattacharya said” “We first came here two years ago to see the stadium. The work that has done has been staggering. I am confident that the stadium will look 30 years younger. I grew up here watched football here; it gives me immense pleasure to say Kolkata has been ratified as one of the venue for World Cup matches.”
