Reports say that on May 5, the terrorists who were ambushed in a cave in the Kesari Hill forest area of ​​Kotranka, Rajori, started firing on the army commandos. 5 para commandos were martyred in the attack. Similarly, on November 22, in Bajimal of Kalakot, the terrorists ambushed inside the cave opened fire and martyred 5 army soldiers including 2 captains. Due to this, the security forces had to face difficulties in eliminating the terrorists hiding in the caves.
