There is a continuous decrease in the active cases of Covid-19 in the country, but the figures are still increasing. The Union Ministry of Home Affairs has issued fresh guidelines in view of Covid-19. It has extended the guidelines of the current coronavirus to 31 January. The Ministry has said to be alert to strains found in Britain.

The Ministry of Home Affairs has issued instructions to carefully determine the scope of the Containment Zone of the states, strictly follow the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). The department in a statement made it clear that careful demarcation of the containment zone should be continued. All necessary steps should be taken to prevent Coronavirus in these areas.

In view of the increasing cases of Covid-19, the Center had issued new rules to control Covid on November 25, currently, the exemption granted during this period has been withdrawn as well as the guidelines issued. The Ministry of Home Affairs, in the guidelines released in November, allowed the continuation of the night curfew as well as imposing any number of local restrictions. Meanwhile, a maximum of 100 people have been allowed to attend any event. Fines on those not wearing masks were allowed, as well as local lockdowns. In the order issued on Monday, the ministry has now extended the guidelines till 31 January 2021.
