With the release of Extraction 2, Chris Hemsworth will reprise his role as Tyler Rake. At Netflix's TUDUM 2022, a first peek at the impending sequel was unveiled, showing a behind-the-scenes look at the action. Hemsworth might be seen hinting in the new teaser that the sequel's action sequences will be more extensive than those in the first.

Various new stunts and action scenes were teased in the teaser, however, among the most highlighted was a helicopter on top of a moving train, and an even longer “oner”, which is predicted to have been shot in just one take as teased by the director the film Sam Hargrave in the new promo.

Among the new stunts and action teased is landing a helicopter on top of a moving train, as well as an even longer "oner" — a scene that appears to be filmed in one take as teased by director Sam Hargrave in the new promo. In the first look teaser, the director is heard saying, "With a title of '2' behind your name, you need to bring twice the action." Hemsworth also discusses the follow-up, saying, "Everything that got you here doesn’t mean a thing unless you can do it bigger and better than ever before."

Extraction 2's official description reads, "In 2020, the world met a new hero: Tyler Rake (Chris Hemsworth), a fearless black market mercenary who embarks on the deadliest mission of his career. But what seems lost …can still be extracted." Hemsworth has already been posting behind-the-scenes photos from the sequel's filming on his Instagram.

This action-packed, breathtaking franchise, which is directed by Sam Hargrave, is made by Joe and Anthony Russo, the brilliant minds behind Avengers: Endgame. Extraction 2 has not yet received a formal release date. The movie is scheduled to be out in 2023.
