For his helpful, accepting, inclusive, and loving portrayal of a young guy who comes to fall in love with a person on the autistic spectrum, he earned the nickname "green flag" character.

Fans worried constantly about the date and hoped that Kang Tae Oh would stay longer, even though they were aware that he would be enlisting this year because he previously stated that "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" would be his final K-drama before enlisting.
