These days, many people's accounts have been maintained on social media, all try to increase their followers. Everyone is competing to become popular. Everyone wants to get ahead. Everybody wants to have millions of followers on their social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube. Not only ordinary people, there are also some stars who get more views with the help of their fake followers. There is no confirmation of whether this happens or not, but such allegations take days on the celebs. Recently, the Mumbai Police had sent summons to Punjabi rapper Badshah about this.

Last month CIU busted a racket in which fake views and followers were being bought by many celebs. The Mumbai Police had disclosed a case that violated the Information Technology Act provisions. At that time it was reported that some companies of celebrities and Bollywood biggies were buying fake followers on Instagram, Twitter, and other social media platforms.

During the investigation in this case, Badshah's Instagram account came in the list of Crime Intelligence Unit (CIU) and he was called by CIU on 3 August. He could not reach there. Now once again he has been summoned by CIU officials on August 6 and there are reports that the top actresses of Bollywood are also being questioned in this matter.
