Renowned fashion designer Sharbari Datta has been found dead at her residence in Kolkata. The body of Sharbari was recovered on Thursday midnight in the bathroom of her residence in Kolkata. However, it has not been disclosed so far as to what has been the reason behind Sharbari's demise.

Police sources have revealed that Sharbari's body is recovered from the bathroom of her house around 12.30 am. As soon as the information was received, the Kolkata police immediately reached the spot and took cognizance of the situation. On the other hand, Sharbari's family believes that the 63-year-old fashion designer was last seen having dinner at night on Tuesday.  Since then, she did not talk to anyone.

The preliminary enquiry into the case revealed that Sharbari passed away due to cardiac attest. But her family believes that she was absolutely right and there was no such thing. However, the Kolkata Police is currently investigating the case. And the cause of the sudden death of Sharbari is also being ascertained. Her body has been sent for post mortem. Sharbari Datta was the daughter of renowned Bengali poet Ajit Datta. Sharbari has been a renowned fashion designer for years. She was most identified for the designs of ethnic wear of men. Rather, it is said that Datta had for the first time introduced colourful dhoti and designer Punjabi kurta to Bengali men in the fashion world.
